We would like to welcome all our children and parent/carers to the new term. We hope you had an enjoyable holiday!
All children have been allocated a key person who will be working specifically with them. If you do not know who your key person is please ask Sally or Lynne.
Please ensure that your child is warmly dressed as the hall can be a bit draughty at times. If your child comes to school in boots please change them into their trainers. We need coats and bags clearly labelled with the child's name please, as confusion can lead to tears!!
In the event of snow we will do our best to remain open but if in doubt please phone 07743 038405.
This term's theme is The World Around Us. We will be exploring different buildings, animals that live around us, festivals such as Divali, Eid and Christmas, people who help us and the weather. If anyone has any contribution towards our theme please let us know.
We have started a nature table for the children so if you have anything of interest, please bring it in.
Thank you for your continued support with providing fruit for the children. They really enjoy their snack time!
We will be holding a clothes collection to help our fundraising the week commencing Monday 4th November. Sacks will be given out before half term so if you feel like a pre-Christmas clear out please think of us. Details to follow.
We had an amazing year of fundraising last year making approximately £1000!!! Together with a grant this money has allowed us to buy an extra shed for storage and new fencing for our outdoor play area.
Our ever popular coffee mornings will be held on Wednesday 27th November and Thursday 28th November from 9am to 10.30. All parent/carers are invited to stay for coffee and homemade cakes!! This is an opportunity to watch your child at play and even join in, talk to the staff and meet the other parents. We only ask for a small donation towards refreshments. If your child is not in on these days you are welcome to pop in. All monies raised will go towards the children's Christmas party.
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 15th October 2013 at 9.15 in the Quiet Room lasting for approximately one hour. Refreshments provided. Please come and support your child's pre-school!!!
